COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Readiness and SSB Banking Services
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our daily lives, we want to assure you that Shelby Savings Bank is diligently working to be proactive and minimize any disruption of providing banking services to our valued customers.
We have implemented aggressive precautions to prevent the spreading of this potentially deadly virus for the well-being of our customers and employees.
Access to our bank lobbies continues to be temporarily restricted until further notice. In an effort to enhance our social distancing efforts by instituting shift work with teller staff, we will be temporarily closing the drive-thru at 4:30 p.m. each day. The two Center locations will be temporarily closed on Saturdays. Please know that our branch San Augustine, Hemphill, and Palestine locations will continue to operate normal Saturday hours. New deposit accounts continue to be available to be opened online and our friendly support staff will be available by phone to answer any questions you may have regarding your current accounts or new accounts. Our lending staff will be available via telephone to answer any questions concerning new or existing loans. Accessibility to safety deposit boxes will be handled by appointment only. We apologize for this inconvenience, but drastic situations require an aggressive response.
We want to remind our customers that you can utilize our convenient digital banking options to maintain CDC recommendations for social distancing. SSB offers a variety of banking options including online banking and our mobile app. Our ATMs are also available 24 hours a day.

With the SSB ATMs, App and Online Banking you will be able to:
Check balances, withdraw money and make deposits at our ATMs
All can be done at any Shelby Savings Bank ATM with a Shelby Savings Bank debit card. We have ATMs located at all branches and in Chireno.
Update your personal details
In the SSB app under the menu touch profile or on our website once in online banking, click Customer Service, Profile
You can update your email address, phone number, mailing address, username and password.
Access your accounts
You can see balances and transaction history for all your accounts, checking, savings, cd, and loans.
With our mobile app you can deposit your checks (some limits and restrictions apply)
Using our P2P, Bill Pay, or Loan Payment options, you can pay your bills from our app or website.
You can transfer funds between accounts.
